Deuteronomy — Chapter 15

Every seventh year thou shalt make a remission. The sabbatical year of release from debts foreshadows the Jubilee of grace proclaimed by Christ (Lk. 4:18), when all spiritual debts are remitted and captives are freed from the bondage of sin.
