Observe the month of new corn, and make the Passover to the Lord thy God. Lapide treats the three great pilgrim feasts: Passover (liberation from Egypt, typifying redemption by Christ), Pentecost (giving of the Law, typifying the gift of the Holy Ghost), and Tabernacles (sojourn in the desert, typifying the Church's pilgrimage to heaven).
