DOMINE IN VIRTUTE TUA LAETABITUR REX. Lapide: Psalm 20 — thanksgiving after victory. "In Thy strength, O Lord, the king shall joy." The king = Christ. Lapide: "et super salutare tuum exsultabit vehementer" — the human soul of Christ rejoices in the Father's salvation, the Resurrection and Ascension. Lapide: every Christian king and ruler should recognize that all strength and victory comes from God, not from their own power.
