Deuteronomy — Chapter 11

Love therefore the Lord thy God, and observe his precepts and ceremonies and judgments and commandments always. Lapide summarises the whole of chapters 11–12: Moses exhorts to the love of God by memory of His benefits in the desert, and promises blessings in Canaan for obedience. All ceremonies and statutes flow from the first commandment of love.
