Samuel reproves Saul for offering sacrifice without waiting for him: \"Thou hast done foolishly, and hast not kept the commandments of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee; the Lord would now have established thy kingdom over Israel for ever.\" First occasion of Saul's disobedience: impatience and presumption.
