After the Assyrians were slaine, King Ezechias was visited with a dangerous sicknes, to keepe him in the feare of God, left much ioy should bring him into obliuion of his dutie.

In this Canticle the King reciteth his afflictions of mind, for that he should part out of this world, in the flowre of his age.
