Al the eleuen tribes are called by the name of Ioseph, being chiefe after Iuda. So Semei not of the proper tribe of Ioseph, but of Beniamin, pleading for pardon of his former fault, alleadgeth that he came first of the eleuen tribes, to submitte himselfe and serue the King.
